Book My Barber is a booking platform for barbershops, live across 5+ branches. Customers find nearby barbers, watch a shop’s queue before they leave home and book a chair in a few taps; barbers run their whole day from a queue dashboard.
Queue changes reach every screen in real time over Server-Sent Events — the customer’s phone, the barber’s dashboard and a TV view for the shop floor — and AI-assisted scheduling fills the gaps in each day. It runs on the MERN stack behind REST APIs.
The look leans into an old-school gentlemen’s club: deep green, cream and a high-contrast serif. Sign-in is a phone number and a one-time code, and a barber sets up a shop — details, services, hours and photos — in four swipes.
Today it handles 200+ appointments a day, with average wait time down 25% and infrastructure costs down 35%.
